Southern Peru copper belt, about 20 km from the Pan American Highway.
A large, untested copper system in the southern coastal belt.
Tierra Roja is an exploration-stage copper porphyry target in Peru’s southern coastal belt. The core of the property is a circular alteration system with silica–sericite alteration and copper oxides (malachite, chrysocolla, brochantite) beneath a thin sulphate/caliche crust. Mineralization is hosted in a multiphase intrusive complex and surrounding andesitic volcanics. The surface footprint is large; drilling is required to test what lies beneath.
